Reverend Thomas Henry
He gave the advice when final year Junior High students from the Holy Ghost AG Academy, Ashiaman Jericho, Vision College, Sakumono and other candidates, joined in their worship service at the Assemblies of God Holy Ghost Worship Centre on Sunday.
He said engaging in malpractice of any kind, such as taking foreign materials into the examination hall, copying from other candidates, patronising leaked questions, exchanging of papers and writing of answers in one’s palm amongst other shameful practices, could lead to the cancelation of their results and in worse situations, candidates could be arrested and prosecuted by law.
He further advised them to be courageous, confident and put away all forms of anxiety and fears during the period.
The Reverend Minister asked them to take their revision seriously, solve more past questions and also trust in the Lord for victory.
“Make sure you go to the examination hall with all the items and tools you need, don’t go with the intention to borrow from others,” he cautioned them.
He prayed, anointed and asked for the Lord’s guidance, protection and a photographic memory and assured them of victory.
This year’s BECE began yesterday, June 10 and will end on Friday, June 14 at all centres across the nation.-GNA
